Classic Velocity

This is another ultra low mileage barn find like the 525i. It is simply amazing that these things still exist. Purchased 30 years ago to ride around town, it was almost immediately set aside due to an injury. Then it got set aside with 18 miles (yes, 18) on it for decades ! Grandson gets it running and puts 85 miles on it before getting a car and putting it in the corner of the garage yet again. A connection to a connection results in me heading over to check out this moped, mostly because it is German. The Honda CT70 is more capable and much cheaper and easier to own, but at the time of purchase, it is in pieces awaiting a good chunk of garage time.

It has 109 miles on it following my test ride, and is in condition that is pretty consistent with that. Some light pitting of chrome but otherwise perfectly fine. Pit machine, swap meet cruiser, grocery getter. Needs a petcock and some cleaning.  50cc of fun
