The small tank is a concern on a machine intended for long trips, but there is a bright side. At 73 advertised MPG, each gallon goes a long way. On the first trip out we were able to test 2 aspects of this bike. First, the ability to travel two-up. This is a single, with a claimed 48 hp. It will not compete with a boxer, but it is surprisingly good and the passenger accommodations are reportedly quite comfortable. You need to use the gears, but that is to be expected. Second, this tested the mileage. It averaged 83 mpg ! This was two-up on back country roads at a leisurely pace, but it is still amazing.
