Valentino Rossi claimed championship #7 in the Moto GP premier class. It is his ninth considering other classes. He has done this with different teams and bikes and regulations. Even when his bike was less than competitive, you could clearly see him ride the wheels off the thing in an attempt to win. He gets it sideways more than a little bit and I have never seen him slack off for a race or 2. He has a gift that allows him to adapt to any piece of kit and get the best out of it. I’m sure he could spank many pros with my R75/5 if needed…
He is a true phenom on 2 wheels and has secured a place in the record books with this championship.
