For the second year, the annual vintage British car show in the Lehigh Valley sponsored by the Keystone Region MG club was joined on the preceding day (Saturday) by a local vintage Italian car show. Two days of vintage iron nearby is way more excuse than I usually need to go strolling around ogling cool cars.

Unfortunately for the Italian show, the weather threatened thunder showers and muddy show fields, so several clubs in the region elected not to make the drive. As it turns out, the rain never really arrived, but it looked like it would all day, so the weather forecast did more to dampen the event than the actual weather itself! Still, a decent number of more local cars showed up, and there was enough to entertain the visitors who turned out. Best of show for me was the survivor Lancia.

Sunday turned out to be a perfect weather day, and the British cars turned out in large numbers accordingly. There were lots of examples of everything from Bugeye Sprites, to TVRs. Not much of a Bentley and Rolls Royce contingent this year, despite perfect picnic basket weather. The pictures tell the story here, but best of show for me was the unrestored Aston Martin DB5.
